About the band
The Masqueraders operate a flexible five to nine piece line-up. This includes fabulous male and female lead vocalists and a sizzling-hot three-piece brass section. You can increase the basic five-piece band with one, two or three brass players according to your budget.
Playing a selection of the biggest party/feel-good hits from the 50s to the present day, the band boasts an extensive repertoire of over 200 songs. We cover a wide range of musical styles, including pop, rock, rock 'n' roll, disco, soul, funk, jazz and blues. In addition we can tailor-make the music to fit a particular theme, for example a 70s or 80s night.
You are welcome to choose some favourites from our song list, which can be included in the sets for the evening. Please see our song list.
Alternatively, trust us to 'read' your audience and choose the songs that are guaranteed to fill the dance floor. As part of our service we are happy to learn a first dance or special song especially for your wedding or event.
Quality band members
The musicians and singers who regularly perform in The Masqueraders have worked as high level session players for many big names. These include Tina Turner, Spandau Ballet, Mica Paris, Bjorn Again, Bjork, Eric Clapton and the BBC. When you book The Masqueraders you can be sure you are getting some of the top musicians in the UK, playing just for you. Our team includes successful songwriters who have co-written hits for pop artists such as Girls Aloud and The Sugar Babes as well as composed theme songs and commissioned music for TV companies and major advertising agencies.
State-of-the-art sound & lights
With a state-of-the-art PA and lighting rig, you are ensured of a crystal clear sound and a rich visual experience. The band is covered by public liability insurance (£5m) and our equipment is PAT tested. Our PA system is appropriate for an audience of up to 300 people. For larger events we can organise a more powerful sound system please ask us for a quote.
